Jones Matilda Estelle

Funeral services for Matilda Estelle Ledford, 70, Erwin, were held Sunday afternoon from the Full Gospel Tabernacle at Coffee Ridge.

Mrs. Ledford died Thursday at her residence following a lengthy illness.

She was a native of Unicoi County and the daughter of the late James E. and Poly Jones. She was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle, Coffee Ridge.

Surviving are one sister, Amanda Price of Erwin; two brothers, Paul Jones of Kentucky and Rufus Jones of Erwin; one half-brother, Fred Jones of New York; three half sisters, Linnie Hensley of Florida, Ruth of New York and Ester of Maryland.

Rev. Randolph Johnson and Rev. Dillard Williams officiated at the funeral services. Interment was made in the Patty Edwards Cemetery. Erwin Memorial Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. *Source-The Erwin Record, 08 May 1968, Wed ·Page 8
