Erwin- Mrs. Loretta Ledford Edwards, 97, died at her residence Saturday after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Edwards was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County and was a daughter of the late Amos and Sarah Jane Harris Ledford.
Survivors include two daughters; Mrs. Bertha Edwards and Mrs. Jane Thomas, both of Erwin; two sons, Iona Edwards of Turner, Oregon and Bergin Edwards of Madras, Oregon. *Source- Johnson City Press, 15 May 1966, Sun ·Page 2
